L’Asphodèle, a singular table between land and sea
Set in the Courégant moor in Ploemeur, the L’Asphodèle restaurant offers a dining space unlike any other in the region, with a seasonal, local and sustainable menu : an ideal place to enjoy gourmet, creative and affordable cuisine, all with a breathtaking view of the Île de Groix.
Supplied directly with vegetables from les Jardins de L’Asphodèle and with wild plants from the moor, the restaurant also sources almost all of its products from regional producers through the Résistants network, which for nearly ten years has brought together more than 150 farms and producers committed to peasant agriculture.

The Project
L’Asphodèle : a unique project to bring the Courégant moor back to life
L’Asphodèle is a project of a new kind, aiming to restore the natural ecosystem of the Courégant moor in the town of Ploemeur in the Morbihan, through an alternative model of natural-area management that is unique in France, built around an environmental action plan, organic farming and a dining space in a circular and symbiotic approach.
Our restaurant L’Asphodèle is the fundamental link uniting the three pillars of the project while also being its economic lifeblood.

Les Jardins de L’Asphodèle
An organic farm from field to plate
Led by Grégoire Desnoulez, an organic market gardener for over 25 years, les Jardins de L’Asphodèle make the most of this exceptional terroir near the sea to grow fruit and vegetables according to principles drawn from peasant agriculture.
With nearly one hectare devoted to market gardening and more than a hundred fruit trees and shrubs planted, les Jardins de L’Asphodèle fulfil a nourishing role essential to this project.
The immediate proximity between the fields and the kitchen allows for experimentation and the pursuit of varieties, ripeness and freshness, with exceptional taste quality as the goal.
